AskConnection/Run travia2 Connection Error on Login or Server Selection Screen

Dear Players, 

 

There are several reasons for the connection error either on login screen or server selection screen.

Error message such as Network Error or Server Maintanace message could occur.

 

Please follow the below steps if the above error occurs.

1. Delete the client.

2. Delete the whole 4Story folder.

3. Click on start\Run.

4. Type in regedit.

5. Press Enter.

6. Goto My computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Zemi Interactive\

7. Delete 4Story_US or any other version of 4Story that might be colliding with the global version.

8. Download the new client from global.4story.com.

9. Install and enter.

 

There are some cases where some antivirus program would identify tclient.exe as a hack and delete the patch preventing the patch from ever occuring. In this case, please turn off the antivirus program during the patching process. Without the patch (if there was one), the version will be different and prevent you from entering the game.
