AskRegarding Game travia2 What is PK System?
Hello,

PK system is short for Player Killing system and is a Player versus Player combat which does not require a mutual consent to start the fight.

1. Overview
Depending on the character''''s Force affiliation, a player can gain a certain number of Honor Points for a successful killing of another player while a victim player will lose his/her Honor Points as a penalty. Character death will unequip or drop items equipped by the victim player.

3. Force

A character''''s Force affiliation determines the reward and penalty for player killing.

1) Killing a player in the same Force
- The PKer will lsoe the 12 times the obtainable per-PK Honor points as a penalty.
For example, if the victim was in character levle 57, the number per-PK Honor points based on the victim''''s character level is 4 and the total loss of PK''''s Honor points is 48. - the 12 folds of 4

- If the level gap between the killer and the victim is greater than 20, there will be no item drop.
- If the level gap between the killer and the victim is greater than 20, the per-PK Honor points loss will be calculated based on the character with a higher level.

2) Killing a player in the opposite Force
- The number of per-PK Honor points will be calculated based on the level of the victim player.
- The victim will lose per-PK Honor points based on its own character level plus 1 extra point.
For example, if the victim was in character level 57, the number of per-PK Honor points based on the victim''''s character level is 4 and the total point loss of the victim will be 5 - 4 plus 1.
- If the victim was PKed by a player in another Force, its Honor point balance will not be reduced to below 0.
- A PKer will not be tagged as Chaotic user for attacking a player in another Force.
- For characters in levels lower than 100. there will be no point loss or gain for PK between players with level gap of 20 or higher.

3) Killing a player in the neutral Force
The PKer will lose the 6 times the obtainable per-PK Honor points as a penalty.
For example, if the victim was in character level 57, the number of per-PK Honor points based on the victim’s character level is 4 and the total loss of PKer’s Honor points will be 24 ? the 6 folds of 4.
 
4. Item Drop
In Travia2, a character will drop any equipped items at the following drop rate.
1) If PKed by a Chaotic user, a drop will occur at 0.5% chance per slot.
2) If PKed by a non-Chaotic user, a drop will occur at 3% chance per slot.
 
5Restoring Honor Points

A player can offset the point loss by 

1) Completing a quest
2) Collecting 1 Honor point every 10 minutes outside the safe zone

A Chaotic user can regain per-PK Honor points based on a player’s character level when PKed by a non-Chaotic user. 

 
6. Territory Wars & Stronghold Conquest
In case of Territory Wars and Stronghold Conquest, PKing the same force will not result a penalty. Also, no victim will receive a penalty for death.
 
7. Penalty for Chaotic User
A Chaotic user will be
1) Unable to trade at shops without penalty.
2) Banned from questing in party with other players.
3) And more items will drop upon character''s death.
